The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0C Comp Gear Pac 9mm striker-fired pistol sets a new standard for duty-grade modularity and performance. Its hardened stainless-steel serialized chassis forms the backbone of the design, while an integral single-port compensator which is machined directly into the hammer-forged slide and barrel which vents gas upward to control muzzle rise. The result is faster, more accurate follow-up shots and an unobstructed sight picture, thanks to the front sight being positioned behind the compensator. Chambered in 9mm, the pistol features a 4" hammer-forged barrel and includes both 15-round and 18-round magazines. Weighing approximately 24 oz, it combines a textured polymer grip with the robust stainless chassis for secure, duty-ready ergonomics suitable for defense, competition, or professional use. The slide is finished in durable black Melonite and equipped with a white-dot front sight and U-notch rear sight for quick, reliable target acquisition even in low-light conditions. This Gear Pac model comes factory-equipped with a Viridian RFX11 Green Dot optic. A key advantage of the Echelon 4.0C Comp is its modular, optics-ready architecture. The patented Central Operating Group (COG), a fully self-contained, serialized chassis which enables quick grip-module changes for exceptional adaptability. The Variable Interface System (VIS) allows direct mounting of many popular red-dot optics, including the Trijicon RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, and Springfield Micro/Shield RMS & SMS, without adapter plates. Additional plates are available for other footprints. Aggressive slide serrations and dual mounting standards further enhance compatibility with sights and accessories. This Gear Pac edition includes four magazines, one 15-round and three 18-round along with a Viridian RFX11 Green Dot optic, magazine loader, interchangeable backstraps, and a pistol bag.
